Recommended Virus Removal Tools

I know all the hype and talk about the various anti-virus systems. Norton, McAfee, Trend, Kaspersky, etc etc etc.

I run a computer repair shop. And a lot of what I get into my shop on a daily basis. Are people who have gotten infected. Usually due to their own misconceptions about virus protection.

But, as it is now my job to deactivate, and remove these virus’ from their system, while maintaining their systems integrity and data.

My question for the forum is this. What utilities and programs that are out there. That are recommended, and have proven themselves effective, and fast, for removing these infections.

Any advise and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
