Regarding avira antivirus

I have been using avira antivirus free edition for over 1 year and in my expereince i have seen that avira detects viruses and other malicous items during a full scan, after infections are deleted from the quarantine, the product simply keeps detecting the same viruses over and again after a restart.
What is the reason for this condition
