Reminder conflicts created when working

by paulq . Updated 25 years, 10 months ago

We have two laptops that access an Exchange server using Outlook 2000. When one decides to work in “offline mode”, event reminders will often pop up (based on the last synchronized calendar information). If the user responds to these reminders in any way (DISMISS or POSTPONE), the reminder disappears. However, as soon as the user reconnects to the network (online), the same reminders pop up and regardless of the button you click, you receive the “Conflicting events warning” (crossed swords). So – is there any way to avoid this? Disable reminders in offline mode? Thx.
