Removing NT4 BDC account in 2K AD Domain

I have a windows 2000 AD Native Mode doman. When the domain was switched to Native mode there was still an account for an NT4 BDC in AD. It shows up under the Domain Controllers OU. This server no longer exists and I would like to reuse that computer name but I can’t because the name already exists. When I try to delete the NT4 BDC computer account it tells me that I can’t delete the DSA object. I’ve tried resetting the account to no avail. Does anyone know how I can get this reference out of my Active Directory? Thanks in advance.
