Repeated File Protection Message

I get the Windows File Protection Message almost on a daily basis. Slipping in the CD fixes it, but how do I figure out what’s causing this to happen every day? Win XP Pro, SP2, networked with 2 other Win XP Pro PC’s and 1 Laptop.
