RRAS and Alerts (Win2k VPN)

We have setup a RRAS server that has 40 local accounts(dmz). The server is a stand alone server and allows the users that logon to ftp files to a local ftp site. My workstation is a member of a domain that resides on the inside of the firewall. I would like to know if there’s a way I can be notified when a user has established a tunnel? Is there a better way to log the VPN traffic, the logs seem some cryptic.?
No Netbios/broadcasts are allowed accross Pix.
