SATA RAID drivers for XP Installation

by rosaw . Updated 15 years, 5 months ago

I’m trying to install Windows XP SP2 from a bootable cd but My RAID driver is ALi SATA/RAID Controller (M5289). I downloaded the driver “SATA RAID Driver (For system to read from floppy diskette during Windows installation)” from http://www.asrock.com/MB/download.asp?Model=H67DE3&o=XP to add to the installation through a Floppy disk.
But the drivers are Intel one’s and maybe it’s because of that that they aren’t working.
I’ve copied the files to the floppy disk and in the installation I’ve choosen driver “Intel Desktop Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller for Windows XP”. It sends me an error of not findindg any hard disk drive.
My motherboard is ASRock.
Thanks for your help.
