Save Task Order – Outlook-Exchange 2003

by greybeard770 . Updated 16 years, 2 months ago

The problem is that a user cannot add a new Task. The error message is “Please save the task order by clicking Save Task Order on the Actions menu in the Task folder. The view must not be filtered or grouped for Save Task Order to be available.” There are no filters and no task groups and that solutions does not work. I have seen some mention of Getting Things Done but that is nor part of the installation. https://www.techrepublic.com.com/5208-11184-0.html?forumID=35&threadID=13085 gives a great solution for Outlook 98 and Exchange 2000 but the old Exchange client exchng32.exe doesnt seem to be an option anymore. How can I delete the Tasks folder in the new and improved environment. It seems that the command “Outlook.exe /resetfolders” will still rebuild the Tasks folder if I can get it deleted.
