scan disk u3 cruzer problem

I recently put a password on to my u3 cruzer. I didnt log in for a few days and when I did, I didnt exactly remember what I put as the password, but there was only a few possibilities. I tried 3 of them and then the Cruzer told me I had only 3 more tries before it would lock forever. The other option was to change my password, but in doing this it would then erase the entire u3 Cruzer. So I want to crack the password or disable the password without loosing all my work on the cruzer. Please someone who knows hacking stuff, help me with this. its so important to me! thank you.
