Screen goes black after windows logo? [Solved]

When booting up winodws, everything works fine til the windows logo, it loads for about 5 seconds then the screen goes black. I tried loading in safe mode but before i get the option to select anything, the screen again goes black. This happens with every option ive tried, it allows me to see it for a couple of seconds but i cannot select anything because the screen goes black. Do i need a new power supply? graphics card? video card? or is it totally messed up and need a new one?
