Setting up Win95/98 on NetWare 5

I am new to TCP/IP as have always used NetWare 4x. When setting up the client on Windows I have always done the following: Setup ethernet card driver, ipx, and the Microsoft client for NetWare networks. On reboot, been presented with 3 login fields (name, password and server), logged in to server as admin, and installed the proper NetWare client.

How do I do the same with TCP/IP? Have tried doing the same, but with TCP/IP instead of IPX, but only get the 2 fields in the login box.
