setup cannot detect my HDD

dear sirs/madams

Im using acer extensa 5210. my problem is when i try to reformat my HDD the setup cannot detect my HDD . on the other hand CMOS has detect it. is there any possible way to install windows in my laptop? without the option for SATA?
