Sharepoint Designer

Hi everybody
i want to create a drop down list in sharepoint that should bind to a list and when a item is selected from that drop down menu, it should show the relative data of the list row in another webpart.

I want to do it in Designer 2007 and am also using MOSS 2007 and a collaboration portal where the list is located.

Can anybody please help me!!!
