Sharepoint List New Item Creation issues

I’m having a problem with sharepoint lists. Some users can create new items just fine, and others like myself, when hitting ok or submit, it times out. There are no errors in the event logs, none in the sharepoint logs. I’ve restored to a known working date with sharepoint and IIS. Anyone have any ideas as to where to look?
