Sharepoint Services Setup

Based on the Microsoft requirement, Sharepoint Services can run on Windows 2003 Web Edition. But for Microsoft Windows 2003 Web Edition, we’ll need to setup SQL Server instead of MSDE. And Windows 2003 Web Edition can only install MSDE. Has anyone tried setting up Sharepoint Services on Web edition with MSDE? Thanks.
