shell32.dll problems?

Is there a patch or replacement for shell32.dll for windows95 version 4.00.950 B. I cannot use the service 1 pack as it takes my version backwards and screws things up. The shell32.dll file I currently have is version 4.00.1111 and keeps causing page faults in my netscape 4.73 messenger. Only when I click on either forwarded or returned undeliverable mails.
