shutdown problems

Just reformatted a computer, and loaded XP and it just kept rebooting,checked all the drivers and reloaded most did the windows fix and still would not do the right thing.
In the end found out the start button was just sticking a wee bit and was not realeasing, quick spray with crc and a couple of pushs and it is all ok.
Spent a whole day playing with this till I found it
