SMS Administrator Console runtime error

After installing SQL 7.0 SP1 and SMS 2.0 SP1 on an Windows 2000 server I get a runtime error when trying to open up the SMS Administrative Console. Under the event viewer it shows an Event ID of 26. We also get this when running it under NT 4.0 SP6a. Any Suggestions?
