Specific Registry Key Name

I need to know the exact name/location of the registry key that tells Windows to connect to the Internet at startup. It was located in a TechProTip e-mail that I have lost. I know about the Microsoft RunOnce and similar keys already, but I’m lookingfor a completely different registry key.
