Spool Folder – pls advise

most of our users get printer error when they’r tried to print. i found that no enough disk space in the printer cluster to print. i deleted 1 file from the SPOOl folder. it works for us. can i delete all files in SPOOL folder? what will happen if i do so? please help. thanks
