SQL7/2000 Table Info disappeared?!!

has anyone came across this problem? Normally u can see a list table columns statistic in the Table Info tab when u select a database in Enterprise Manager Console. this statistic show the size of the tables, primary/foreign keys and any other indexes. however, after i did a maintanence on reorganizing the index and keys, this statistics disappeared !! all i got to see at the Table Info tab is “The specified table cannot be found.” All the tables and views are still in place, but why the statistics gone?

Database property IsAutoCreateStatistics and IsAutoUpdateStatistics are both set to True. not sure if this info helps.
