Stop Network Search at Bootup

by thosjaquet . Updated 20 years, 11 months ago

Here’s the situation:

Hardware:
I have a new Toshiba M65 Notebook. It has wireless networking apability and an internal NIC. Aso connected to the system, thru a USB port is a “multimedia” usb/speaker “hub” with an RJ-45 LAN port.

I am not connected to any network.

Issue:
When I boot the system it searches for network connections. This takes several minutes and is extremely annoying. Can I coneniently switch this function on/off as I require?
