sync 2 palms on same PC

My wife has Zire21 and I have a Handspring Visor. I’m trying to back hers up to the palm desktop and mine to outlook. Mine works fine, but hers keeps trying to sync to outlook instead of the palm desktop. Can 2 palms even be done on the same PC? The OS on the PC is W2k PRO, and we connect thru USB. Me with a cradle, her direct.
