I wanted to use system File checker since I was told I have some corrupt files in my Winsock that I need to replace but after running the program all it says is please wait while Windows verifies that all protected windoes files are intact and in the original version. After it does this nothing happens, my problem begin when I tried to log into the network through roadrunnerand I can’t log in I did ipconfig /all and got and ip address but when I did ipconfig /release it gave me the same information and ipconfig /renew it said An error occurred while renewing interface Local Area Conection 2= An
operation was attempted on something that is not a socket. microsoft gave an answer as to fix it but it say I have to uninstall the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) but it doesn’t let me do that I have even deleted the the device and reinstalled it but still geting the same message.
