System restore from slaved USB drive?

Good golly. I was trying to do a manual system restore from the recovery console on a corrupted XP Home computer. I know that there’s a good recovery point that is quite recent.

The recovery console is installed, but nobody knows the password.

I have the drive in a USB enclosure, so I can get the data. But is there a way to move around those restore folders and do a restore from my system on the corrupted, slaved drive?
