System32 window (Folder) opens automatic

I had to delete several keys from the registry to manually delete Norton AV 2000. After I deleted all remnants of that program, when I logon the System32 folder automatically opens. It never used to. What did I accidentally delete in the registrythat I shouldn’t have? This seems to be a common occurrence with me on all the systems I manage. I’m apparently deleting something I shouldn’t be in the registry.
