In our MS Win2000 Pro Resource Kit on page 306 under “Using Terminal Services to Manage Remote Computers” second to last paragraph we read: “On client computers, install the appropriate Terminal Services client software to connect to the server.” After that, we read: “To install Terminal Services for remote administration 1. In Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs. 2. In the dialog box, click Add/Remove Windows Components. 3. In the Windows Components wizard, under Components, select the Terminal Services check box, and then click Next.”
However, we don’t see anything like this in our Windows Components on any of our Win2000 Pro systems? There is no “Terminal Services check box”. Can anyone enlighten us as to what in the world the Microsoft Resource Guide is telling us, or was this written from the Twilight Zone?
How do we install Terminal Services Client on Win2000Pro and NT4 Workstations? Thanks for the help!
