The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. This is what i am getting.

I will pull into my computer my SD memory card. My computer doesnt recognize it, does not pull up. That message is what happens when i go to my computer and try to pull it up.

Now… i have read that i need to update my drivers, but I cant find where to update it! And i have read that i need to run some program to recover the files. Well i downloaded photorec.exe but it wont pull up the card so i cant recover it. My problem, PLEASE CAN ANYONE SEND ME A LINK TO DOWNLOAD THE CORRECT UPDATES FOR MY DRIVER?!?! My computer is an HP and i have Windows XP. I can only find updates for vista, and sony. PLEASE HELP!!!
