Timeouts

I have a mixed client environment of macs and pcs with about 90% macs. My problem is the clients are being disconnected after about an hour even while they are still active. I have a win2k server with sp3 – clients range from mac OS 8x to 9x and win98 to win2k pro. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks in advance, darryl
