My computer has been fried beyond all possible belief as of late, and by my own doing(accidental, of course), has been afflicted by more bugs than a New York apartment. Many of these, I suspect, are spyware that have dug their way into the computer’s registry – none of the antiviruses that I have can find the problems. I have two concerns regarding this:
1) Should I force myself to take the risk of using regedit.exe? I fully understand the risk, and it may be my only choice left – unless somebody has a safer and/or easier solution.
2)Assuming that I proceed with the said course of action, I am unsure as how to go about deleting of the files. Is there a list of some sort where I can find what I need to keep in the registry, and if so, where can I find it?
I will not deny that I am fairly inexperienced with using the windows XP registry, so I already know the risks messing with the registry will give me,so any help I can get would be very greatly appreciated =).
