Too slow connecting to the Web.

We installed a Checkpoint firewall-1 and esafe on a Netserver LH3 Dell computer with 256MB Ram.We noticed afterwards the users complaining about the network being very slow when connecting to the web.
Does anyone knows if we need more Ram installed,move the software to another machine,or is it a configuration problem!…
