Our company moved half of us to another site, with another server. Our user profiles still log us in on the first server, connected by a hard link, but not that fast. Our new network guy moved our database to the new site.. but our profiles route everything back via the old server..which makes the ‘enter key’ resemble a ‘go make a coffee’ key. His administrator profile of course gives direct access to the database on the new site.. but nothing he changes on the user profiles makes the link a strictly local one. Can someone point me in the right direction to do it myself.. or at least show him how to do it?
It even has Word loaded from the old server.. and it takes forever to even open up a blank document.
Thanks immensely.
