UML Object Modeling tool conversion

I am starting an effort to convert my organization’s object model and requirements (Use Cases) from Riverton’s HOW tool to Rational Rose/Requisite Pro.

What feedback, guidance, stories from prior experience with doing this conversion can you offer that would be helpful to our planning, executing, validating this conversion?
