Unable to display help in Visual Basic 6

My hard drive crashed a month ago and I had to reinstall VB6 and MSDN library. I have now done it 3 times. Whenever I click on help I get a message box that says Unable to display help. I can go to the files in the MSDN directory and pull up the help files and they are fine-not corrupted.
Help worked before my drive crashed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
