Unable to map SAN device

I have just installed a Nova 29S Storage Area Network (SAN) system. I can successfully ping it from my system. But when I tried to map it to a drive for accessing it, I was getting the error – remote device or resource does not allow connection.
I have disabled Antivirus and Firewall. Yet, have not been able to access the drive beyond pinging.
Can anyone help?
