Can anyone assist with the following:
I recently purchased a 320 GB Samsung external hard drive, model no. HXMU032DA. Included in the hard drive was software for “Samsung auto back up”. I installed & configured this software to compress files during backup.
The backup data was accidentally moved to another location on the hard drive. I have since moved the data back to it’s original stored location. When I open “Samsung auto back up”, the data is shown in a red color, but “Samsung auto back up” cannot locate the data.
The data therefore resides on the Samsung external hard drive in the format compressed by “Samsung auto back up”. Since “Samsung auto back up” cannot detect the data, I have no way of de-compressing these files & re-using my data, which is about 5 GB worth of data.
Please tell me what can be done to re-store my data to its original format.
