Unable to see a computer on Network Neig

I am currently running a laptop on Windows NT 4 workstation. I am able to see other machines on the network, but I can’t see myself in Network Neighborhood. Could this be related to NetBios or WINS Server. If I go into Server Manager and click onmy computer name, an error message would appear saying “cannot find network path” I can ping myself and other machines, but cannot find by computer by name. Any suggestions you can provide would be great.
