Hello I’m a work at home web developer, I’m not great at it but I love it.
I am hoping to get some advice on a better way of coming to understand what my clients actually need versus what they THINK they need.
My clients are small business people who almost never really know what they want or even why they want it really. They just want a web site because they think they need one.
Sometimes they have one but it is pretty bad and it doesn’t “work” well to them.
I am thinking about some type of form that they could fill out, something that would help them think through this and what they are really trying to achieve.
When they don’t really know what they want, it’s pretty hard to give it to them. This part of the process is difficult and any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
