I know I know, never install an unsigned drive especially after SP-2. Well I did and now I can not get my Windows XP SP-2 Computer to even remove the drive. I Installed the proper driver I had on a CD for my XP Computer for my Creative Sound Blaster Card. This drive worked very well before SP-2. I have recently formated and re-installed XPPro then installed SP-2 everything worked 100% all apps, programs etc. Then I noticed my 5.1 Creative / Cambridge Sound Works system was not working, no driver installed!! So I installed the driver LivDrvUni-Pack.exe version 1.0.0.1 that worked before SP-2 and that was my big mistake, ever since I have tried to remove the driver, with no luck, I have tried to uninstall the software from Add & Remove Programs, it will not let me, the error says, it is corrupt. I have also tried everything in safe mode with no luck as well. I have also tried to system restore to before I installed the driver/software pack. I have not been able to system restore to any of my restore points??? Do any of you have any ideas before I format and reinstall, I have wasted enough time on this all ready???
