Upgrade SQL Server 7 to SQL Server 2000

We are currently developing a new product using SQL Server 7 as our database of choice. If we have a client who already has SQL Server 2000 will there be a problem of our product working in that environment. (i.e. are there changes to our connection strings…are calls to stored procedures accomplished differently…etc.)
