USB modem invisible to Win98SE randomly.

Error 630 is the most prominant.
The Zoom/Modem USB V.92 did successfully register itself at the end of the installation process. I was able to print out a copy the registeration to my printer. I cannot; however get Win98SE to recognize that it exists. The same modem works perfectly on my second machine, also running Win98SE.
