Use VB To Send Formatted Outook Msg

I currently have a program that attaches a string to the body of an Outook message, before sending it. What I would like is a program that will send a formatted outlook message. You know- pick font colors and sizes- basically what i can do when i send a rich-text format message myself. Thus far i have been unable to manipulate the Outlook message body through code. suggestions?
