We are having an unusual problem with the Shared Fax services on a Win 2K3 SBS implementation. Everything was functioning normally till late friday afternoon, since then for some reason we cannot send outgoing faxes through the shared fax service. We can recieve faxes and they routed just fine. To make things interesting the administrator account has no problem sending faxes from any computer on the network. So I originally thought it might be an odd permissions issue. I check permissions on the fax “printer” and the permissions were wide open. What else makes this interesting is the issue occured sometime after 2:00 pm Friday. I do not believe there were any changes made to the server. Not exactly sure where to go with this problem, the entire tech staff is a stumped. Are there other places I should check to adjust permissions? Or any other troubleshooting ideas that we should be loking at?
