Using CCleaner.

When I use CCleaner my most recently used progams disappear from the Start menu/when I click the Start button, in the lefthand column. This has happened before and I managed to get them back but I just can not remember how to do it.
Normally, if I use Adobe Photoshop, for an example, the shortcut appears when I click the Start button. Now it doesn’t.
Please help. I’ve tried everything that I can think of doing.
