Accepting that the hubs cannot be cascaded, I want to turn my NT machine into a “gateway/router” to do it for me.In 2f the win9x machines, I have a 3Com 3C905 10/100Mb NICs. In the other win9x machine, I have a 3Com 3C509B 10Mb NIC. In the NT machine, I have 1 of each. I assume that I need to have 2 separate subnets defined for the different segments so I am using 19.168.1.xxx on my 10Mb segment and 192.168.2.xxx on my 100Mb segment.

Each of the win9x machines have their default gateways for their NIC pointed to the NIC that they match in the NT machine. The 100Mb segment can see all of the machines on its segment as well as the NT machine. The 10Mb side can see all o
