using .ocx file in crystal report

i have created an .ocx file (using vb5.0), is it possible to use this .ocx file in the crystal report, if so how, try to explain with example.

function of .ocx :
if we pass a string to the function in the .ocx file, it will return another stringwith some combination of character.
