Using SQL in PC-Based database?

Dear All,

In PC-Based database(say paradox) application, I find that using SQL is quite convenient but a little slower than doing the same using TTable control, especially on seeking record(s). Does database’s Index work for SQL query in this caes? How can make faster and convenient using SQL query in PC-Based databse application?
