Using Windows NT router, setup issues.

When using an NT server box as an internal router with two IP segments, what is involved with getting the router to route?
We have two IP segments that don’t see each other. (A computer on one segment can’t ping a computer on the other segment.) The NT Server is configured with two NIC’s, one segment on each, etc. How does one specify the routing?
