Installed Visio Viewer 2007 to permit viewing of visio files. When a visio file is clicked on internet explorer opens up in restricted zone and all I get is a blank page. Changing the security options for the restricted zone does not appear to alter this behavior. I get no warning message about opening an active x file.
If I copy the file to any of the local hard drives the same thing happens. However if I copy the file to a memory stick internet explorer opens in the computer zone I get the warning bar at the top. If I click on the bar the file displays normally.
Can someone tell me how to get the file to display when clicked from the local hard drive or an email message? Incidentally HTML files on the local hard drive don’t open in the restricted zone but open in the computer zone.
