Hi Everyone,

My laptop recently contracted the aforementioned virus which was/is a pain in the butt!

I used various AV tools such as SUPERAntiSpyware, Spybot S&D, MalwareBytes, even using those that are bundled in HirensBCD!

Anyhow, the virus seems to have been deleted but what i’m left with now still baffles me. I am left with a laptop that connects to my Wireless router with an APIPA address and that cannot display pictures in thumbnail view, I must open the pic to view!

Any help/suggestions/solutions would be much appreciated!

the os i’m using is Vista Home Premium, can’t remember my laptop spec though, Sorry!
